About the Event

Have you ever wondered why birds are named after the men who "discovered" them? Why do we still abide by these conventions? What does that tell us about the birds themselves? Do you think birds deserve names for birds? Well, there is has been a debate brewing in the ornithological, zoological, and birding communities about these exact questions. The newly released documentary "Bird Names" explores all of these questions and more.
