
Our Standards
We expect all members to behave in a way that upholds our principles. Examples of behaviors that affirm our principles are:

Using welcoming and inclusive language

Pointing out any racist, sexist, classist, ableist, homophobic, or other biased comments and jokes made by community members when they happen, intentional or not

Being respectful of differing viewpoints, experiences, and cultures

Passing the mic to and amplifying the voices of those marginalized groups

Acknowledging our privileges and using them to fight for members who may not have the same privileges

Showing empathy towards other community members

Being mindful of your surroundings and fellow participants

Respect all flora and fauna while out on our walks - stay on trails, refrain from bringing your pets, and do not disturb wildlife

Using the correct pronouns for fellow members and accepting feedback gracefully, if corrected
