Join us for a special evening event where we will look for birds before they buckle down for bedtime! We will be birding until the sun sets and we are greeted by the songs of crickets and katydids. With any luck, we may see/hear some nocturnal birds!

About the Event
Join us for a special evening event where we will look for birds before they buckle down for bedtime! We will be birding until the sun sets, and we are greeted by the songs of crickets and katydids. The beauty of nature will shine at this event. Expect to see the melted palette of oranges and reds in the sky, hear the songs of wood thrushes, and move alongside fireflies and friends. With any luck, we may see/hear some nocturnal birds! Just remember we will most definitely see Minnesota's state bird at this hour - the mighty mosquito. We will bring some bug spray.
Many bird species are more active in the early morning and late evening when predators are not as abundant. While we normally aim for seeing the early birds at our events, this time we will be keeping an eye out for our night owls. We will…
